About Olson Brothers Electric

Electrical work isn’t something most people think about until it becomes a real problem. When it does, you want an electrician you can trust to take care of it quickly, clearly, and correctly.

Olson Brothers Electric was built on a simple idea: keep electrical service simple for homeowners and businesses in Wisconsin.

Brandon and Cameron Olson started the company with a focus on what customers care about most: clear communication, work done correctly the first time, and a team with the experience to solve the full scope of an electrical project. That focus has shaped how the business operates and why customers return.
We listen to what you need, explain what we find in plain language, and handle the entire project from start to finish so you don’t have to juggle multiple contractors. Whether you’re dealing with a small fix or a major upgrade, our goal is to give you a straightforward, predictable experience that makes electrical work feel simple again.

Our Purpose: Keeping Electrical Service Simple

Electrical problems don’t wait for a convenient moment. When something breaks, stops working, or needs upgrading, you need help immediately. We design our entire process around keeping things easy for you:

Our job is to remove confusion, keep communication open, and make the electrical side of your project feel simple.

What We Believe In

These four principles show up in every job we take on:

We Always Do It Right and Go the Extra Mile

If something needs attention, we fix it to last rather than patching it. We take our time in the panel, check grounding, confirm safety, and make sure the system is solid before we leave. Cutting corners leads to callbacks, and that helps no one.
Communication

Clear Communication

Customers consistently tell us how much they appreciate being kept in the loop. We explain what we see, why it’s happening, and what needs to be done in plain language. No jargon. No confusion.

Turnkey Service

Most electrical projects connect to other parts of your home or business. We coordinate the details, manage the permitting process, schedule inspections, and work with your contractors when needed.

Decades of Experience in Wisconsin

Our work spans residential homes, remodels, new construction, commercial facilities, solar installations, EV charging, and complex troubleshooting. That experience shows up in how we plan, diagnose, and prevent problems.

Our Story

Olson Brothers Electric didn’t begin with a business plan; it began with doing right by people.
Before there was an electrical company, there was Olson Solar Energy. And very quickly, Brandon and Cameron realized something important: when you install solar, you need electricians you can trust. After relying on subcontractors and seeing how hard it was to schedule work, they decided to hire their own master electrician and start small; just one employee and a commitment to doing the job the right way.
Around the same time, one of their installers told them he hoped to become an electrician. Even though they weren’t an electrical company yet, they wanted to support him. That led them into the union apprenticeship program, bringing on apprentices of their own and creating a path for employees to grow. That installer is now in his fourth year of his apprenticeship and soon to be a journeyman.
From those first steps, Olson Brothers Electric grew quickly. Experienced journeymen who had been working on the solar side of the business joined the team, along with their apprentices, providing the company with a strong foundation of skills and expertise from day one.

What hasn’t changed is the mindset:

Keep things simple. Do the work the right way. Treat people with respect.

It’s why employees grow here, why customers come back, and why so many families and businesses across Wisconsin trust Olson Brothers Electric for their next project
